A pregnant women body contains around 50% more blood volume compare to non-pregnant women. This is required to fulfill the demand of both mother and fetus. The increased load on heart may make the heart overwhelmed and result in incapable of delivering right amount of blood. These changes may result in abnormal heart sound or heart palpitation.
